I finished listening to the first book to freshen my memory but I was pleasantly surprised that this sequel has a recap at the beginning (so I didn’t need to listen to the first book after all).

Im just not sure how the grand evil plan is possible logistically. You'd think that the country would of discovered the thousands of dead kids by now?

I will concede that the first book wasn't perfect but I remember it being enjoyable. This is distractingly bad right now.
