At least Adams finally has someone to arrest.

This has a lot more tension and threat in it than the earlier books. Partly it's that the Big Bad Adam's is squared off against is scary and partly it's that the Big Bad's target is Adams' parents.

I love the heerful chaos of this book. A moment of tension has just burst into unplanned, noisy, disruptive action that somehow feels like a benediction.

Also, in this book, I'm going to meets Adams' parents.

Straight into the action. Quite tense but still with an undercurrent of humour.

There are hexes, of course.
