Status Updates From Sweet and Sour: a dark and ...

I'd seen this book pop up in a few of my work emails from Scholastic and it was probably my most anticipated book from the book fair, but so far the first few pages are a massive let down. It's like 30% narrative and 70% exposition and dystopian future social commentary about AI taking away creatives jobs. It's really dense to read in a way that I can't imagine any teenager being hooked by.
