Status Updates From In Case I Go Missing

What I’m enjoying so far: the complexity of the mystery (similar to AGGGTM); the small town setting (the portrayal is accurate); the church is not a negative stereotype; the main characters are well-developed and likable; the suspects and the clues (I have no idea how it all fits together so far); not too dark (so far); Sarah reminds me of Harriet the Spy.
