this is actually a reread but I forgot when I first read it so rip. would def recommend if you're into poetry anthologies, I enjoyed it a lot!

Less graphic for now. I need more knowledge of poet and times to understand what I'm reading currently. Even with that handicap I know I'm reading something more than I understand. Waiting for that moment of clarity.

Some gritty writing here. Still compelling.

The little that I have read has done something that no poetry has ever done for me. It touches, speaks, and makes you read it again. Even the Spanish language selections. This is a brand new experience for me.
