Status Updates From Le Trône ardent T2: La Cour...

Im so confused like idk maybe i need to read this in hard copy or something. Lots of names and places have me confused and I keep referencing the map trying to piece it together

I LOVE this. I love when an FMC has any sort of creature and typically it tends to be a land animal or a flying animal. A sea creature the size of a mountain that’s also red is so much cooler and I’m actually incredibly excited.

I love that she’s not using her magic for tasks like climbing up the mountain or illuminating the cave she’s in, because she won’t rely on her magic when she’s in a dire situation she will know how to function without it, which I do appreciate

Another thing I do appreciate about the FMC is the fact that she does get embarrassed which often times in fantasy books there’s often a lot of confidence in the FMC especially if she has powers but I do appreciate how this one is written to where she’s very relatable in the mortification and embarrassment she feels

I absolutely adore her

I’m very surprised and relieved that Essiya is accepting her role and the decision she made and she’s not like fighting that decision which often times I do see that in a lot of books and I definitely expected it so I am very happy with this turn of events
