Oh, lord! The number of times I've rolled my eyes at this heroine's reactions and accusations in the second half of the book. 😩😩😩

What just happened? They made love, he proposed to her, she said 'yes,' he wants to elope to Gretna Green, she refuses, they argue, and she decides she'll no longer have him. Their disagreements are exasperating. I think this is where the book goes downhill (based on the lower reviews).

I feel like the author is just dragging the story out now by making the hero too stubborn.

Chapter 9 was a flashback chapter of the battle with a tragic ending. 😭😭😭

Cuando todo va bien, la cabezonería y obcecación de Ashby lo jode todo. No puedo decir que no valore la decisión de Isabel, en su lugar yo habría hecho lo mismo, pero veremos ahora si lo que Ashby tiene planeado da buen resultado.

A ver quién gana éste juego... Pero casi que apuesto por Isabel.
Entiendo la vulnerabilidad de Ashby, pero no entiendo que aún siga negándose a que Isabel le vea el rostro...

Aysss ¿Cómo no vas a resistirte ante un hombretón que juega con un bebé!!!? Hasta yo babeo XD.
Eso sí, Ashby se ha pasado mucho ahora, veremos cómo lo remedia.

Llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo leer un libro de este tipo. Buena Regencia (de la que ya no se publica), y protagonista escacharradito y atormentado.

Me está gustando. Pero admito que de ella esperaba un poco más. no sé si me explico, al principio su reacción es buena pero todo se ha vuelto a resolver muy fácilmente.
Todavía faltan 50 páginas, así que a ver qué depara la historia

está siendo una lectura muy entretenida, aunque hay ciertos temas que no termino de entender del comportamiento de él. A ver por dónde sale jajaja
