Didn’t even plan to read such a relevant story right now. In chapter 13, Klein discusses how the holocaust drew inspiration from European colonialism and settlers in North America. This is a discussion I have been hearing by many activists about what’s happening in this country. Genocide and white supremacy is quite literally the backbone of America.

Wearying of continually being confused with once-eminent feminist turned conspiracy crony Naomi Wolf is enough for Klein to drink the haterade and dive down the rabbit hole of obsession with her namesake. Appallingly, but aptly, while reading the first third of the book, I realised that when trying to visualise Klein, I was actually imagining Naomi Watts.

Listening to the audiobook of this one while at work, this is some really great stuff so far I’m heavily invested. Already willing to recommend this to people.
