Status Updates From Naked Lunch: The Restored Text

"There's a boy across the river with an ass like a peach; alas I was no swimmer and lost my Clementine."

The more I read this book the more confused I am that it's so beloved. It's just stream of consciousness ramblings with no internal logic or structure and we're just describing a lot of horrible things. With each page I am more irritated by it.
