Status Updates From Shadow Reaper

Sooo conflicted 😐 it’s definitely YA but I’ve read other YA by Lynette that was less juvenile. Info dump galore, which I get cause it’s fantasy but it could’ve just been done much more gracefully. I also don’t get the setting/world building. Using words like elevator and workstations/offices feel so modern. And magic in this world is called ellixen but still get reminded that it’s magic. Pick one 🙃
