i know this manga is all earnest and wholesome and shit but god what i would give to see subaru punch a bitch that looks at kaoruko the wrong way. she and saku need to team up and secretly beat up anyone who badmouths rintaro and kaoruko now that news of their relationship is gonna start circulating

i've been grinning this entire time but this page really brought the tears on. kosuke is such a gem and i understand and empathize with him SO much. it's beautiful getting to slowly peel back the layers of kaoruko cause she's even more guarded than rintaro is. i hope this convo will have a good payoff sometime soon and that kaoruko will be able to break down and let out all of her stress in front of rintaro
