I'm not sure how to describe books like this one. This genre has become rapidly popular over the past decade and promotes the "anti normie" anthem for mid-thirties women everywhere. But it's interesting because, while the authors tend to be extremely contemptuous of vapidity, you start feeling after the first 50 pages that these characters are the most vapid of all.

Almost DNF'ed this one because the main character is extremely annoying and mean, I can handle an unlikable narrator but MY GOD. but it just got interesting as I was debating stopping so I'll stick with it . Also I paid for the ebook so trying to get my money's worth.
