Having complicated feelings about this book

Oh this is my fucking jam. A "leashed" monster? Yes yes. Simon's true self is knocking at the door and it's starting to break thru. Yes yes. Also I love that he managed to make friends with a child!

Nomi clocking that Simon likes to play with his food is chef's kiss perfect. Yes. He does.

Ooh we are living now! Yes yes yes. I love that Simon is AWAKE and I love that Nomi is not that upset about it.

This is so good. A bit slow but I understand why. I'll say though that there's no real way I can see Emma or Travis interacting with THIS Simon. That's not who he was too them and there's no way they'll be able to slot this new version in along side the version they met.
