This book is interesting and I want to continue the story but I might pick back up in December!!! Sooooo I’m not DNFing 🙂‍↕️

we're halfway through and yet there is still a significant lack of moons and witches

This is a DNF for me. I really tried to get into it, but it felt like there was a lot going on, but nothing was actually happening. Some crucial parts were glossed over, and the FMC seemed way too calm, considering what's happening.

I might go back and read it again at a later date, but it's not gripping me just now.

Okay, yeah this is really hard to get through because nothing is happening

I kinda think this would be better as a middle grade read

i mean, I enjoy it but its definitely not "gothic"
