Hmm, dunno. I dont like how the points of view shifts - one sentence is her voice, another one - his, it is difficult to keep up. Another thing is intimate touches that is uncommon to the times and unexplained but happens so early in the book, sorta loses the drama that should be building and seems to be unauthentic too.

I can feel it wrapping up but there are several threads that will go into the next book. What is Lydia up to? What will Mary do? Will she follow her heart or do her duty? This is killing me. What about the Viscount? What will he do? Can he straighten out Matlock and get it back in order? So many questions. Where is Jane? What about Caroline? Yep, I am on to the next book.

What has happened that has Lady Catherine pulling hair with Richard? Boy, what have you done?

They have made it to Scotland... is there another shoe to fall? It is still early, can something else happen to ODC? What about Jane? Is she a NSNJ [not so nice Jane] or will she straighten up? What about Bingley? I need to quit asking questions and READ the story. I love this. It is Mature Audience if you didn't already know that.
