This book was written in the 21st C but reads like the deepest darkest DH Lawrence. "I didn't realize that woman is like the earth and the soul." (p.45) Really? What part of patriarchal heteronormative ideology did you miss? Nor is the musing about women as mysterious beings with uteruses that send them (us) biological messages every month particularly original.
