don't think i will finish this one it's erratic in it's story line and i don't find myself liking the characters

Sam grabbed Luke’s face. “Look at me. I’ll never be too busy to see you. I’m going to make you my darling man. You’ll see.”

He moved in close to Luke’s warm body and put his cold feet on Luke’s legs.
“Get your feet off me. They’re freezing.”
“It’s your fault for making me sleep on the floor.” Luke turned his back, and Sam cuddled up against him as close as he could, but he was still shivering.
“Stop shivering. It’s annoying.”
“I’d stop if you’d hug me."

Grumpy Luke and sweet Sam... LOL Those two are too cute together.

I think I need more of this author's writing in my life.

Being very familiar with the Little House on the Prairie series, I feel very much like I am reading something akin to fan fic given that De Smet was where the author actually lived at the time this book is set

A pretty good historical so far. (Pretty different read for this author compared to the Angel and the Assassin series.)
