Kids don’t care whether they’ve recently been bad- they run to their parents for their needs to be fulfilled. We must treat God in this way. Sometimes we want to do right and we try so hard, and end up doing wrong instead. We have the urge to do right, but have no power to carry it out. That’s when Jesus hugs us and forgives us.
