Omg him writing about “len share” is so validating because the teachers at my school do this kind of informal, pooled money banking and I thought surely I don’t understand because culturally its insane to me, but apparently Thai people have alway done this! I never “invested” in their len share because I don’t see how someone couldn’t just run away with all the money and this chapter proves my point
