Trying really hard not to DNF at page 34. The overuse of words to express a rambling of thoughts is just crazy! I’ll give this to page 50 and see where we are at.

I DNFed this months ago. before, I was already struggling with it. three main characters, only like one (doubt I’ll like her much longer based on the other characters). One character’s whole personality is being a liberal politician and being over sexualized. another girl who has the same personality but she isn’t a politician, I think she had mental struggles or something idc. I enjoyed the 3rd girl’s few pages tho

My love for these unhinged siblings knows no bounds.

Chapter 50 of this book might be the best chapter ever written in history. This book is far from perfect, but this chapter is.

Yves is the best. I don’t give a fuck about any other character. All I want is a whole book with Yves and his drugs and his pancakes. He embodies the human experience in ways I couldn’t imagine.

Sometimes I just need to spend a couple weeks with Miss Olivie, ya know?

I still don't know how I feel about this one. It's intrigueing and I'm enjoying it. But that "voice of god" narrative I REALLY could do without, and the way sentences will have sometimes one or even two side thoughts right in the middle. Makes it really jumbly to read. There are also nonlinear moments which generally I'm fine with, but mixed with the writing style lead my fogged up brain a little dizzy. So yeah, idk!
