Status Updates From Never After

The cover is really giving Tom Cruise as Lestat and I can’t unsee it 😅

Interesting, and some really wonderful character work going on, but the editor should have stepped in and tried to curb the amount of very over the top flowery prose. The hysterical realism is a little out of control. I do like the characters, and overall I enjoy their arc, but their every minor emotion is a cosmic tragedy and after a while it just gets kind of exhausting.

Still savoring this- going so slow but I know it will be worth it

I really like it. I was pleasantly surprised by a book that I’ve never seen anything about being really well written. Kinda reminiscent of The song of Achilles.
