I can't believe I've started the thirth one in the series. Kim Fielding has such an easy writing style. It's a pleasure to keep reading.

Libro che sarà ricordato da me per la dura lotta per comprarlo. Ho impiegato due giorni dall'uscita a litigare con il Kobo. Speriamo NAM abbia tradotto bene perchè ho anche un'altra serie con lei come traduttrice e sapete cosa penso di chi fa le cose con i piedi.

“Non mi conosci davvero,” disse a Karl. “Potrei essere un serial killer. O un repubblicano.”

Kind of losing interest.

I knew this couldn't end well but, jeez, this is killing me.

“Because I’m pleasing to the eye?” “No. I mean, yeah, you’re pleasing, all right. But it’s more than that. You’re just… special.” Ery couldn’t think of a better word than that. And maybe it was a good word after all, because Karl smiled widely and his eyes shone. “I’ve never been special before,” he whispered.

Oh, the guys are so endearing, but Karl especially, I just want to squish him :D

Nobody had ever handled a sacred object more reverently than Karl lifted that cheap guitar. He sat cross-legged on the ground and, moving slowly, settled the guitar in place on his lap. He ducked his head so he could put the strap on his shoulder. Then he spent several minutes just stroking the wood with his fingertips and delicately touching the strings.
