Cap’s in London for the final arc which is made up of the last four issues.
The main story doesn’t really interest me. I don’t see the point of red skull kind of coming back to life but not really. It’s a bit confusing.
Love Bucky’s cameos and love crossbones although I’ve barely seen him :(
Got to experience some new characters for the first time though like Union Jack and spitfire

Really good bonus issue for Cap’s 65th anniversary. It wasn’t like other extra issues that just get thrown in to pad out volumes but actually gave us main story context via flashback from the war.
Got to see the Howling Commandos in action baby. I love the howlers (so much so they inspired my 40k successor).
Also if I couldn’t love him more comic Bucky has an Obito esque backstory being explored. My goat.

Writing has been done masterfully to tie all of the characters together. We’ve even got my boy Bucky getting stuck in.
Love the arc Bucky seems to be going down - reflective of when he’s trying to atone for his actions in the FATWS Tv series.
Crossbones is still cold although now he’s teaming up with Sin. They’re a double act now rather than him running the show :(

Amazing first issue. Could’ve easily read a second.
The writing is watertight and Crossbones is everything I want him to be so far. He’s proof that with the right writer behind them, anyone can be a menacing villain and his methods of torture to deprogramme Red Skull’s daughter have been nothing short of savage.
Hope she doesn’t steal his limelight as the main villain.
