Is Duncan an actual animal or a shifter child? The FMC refers to him as "my boy, my child, and the puppy" and like...as a childless Millenial I refer to my cats as "the boys" but.....what the hell is he? Also what's with the gnomes?? (Solid addition though, they get left out of most folklore inspired stories)
Confused but still listening, (I may have zoned out once or twice and these questions may have been answered)
