Cringe. Why did the characters say that?

If it really were cardiac arrest (which it’s obviously not proven otherwise it wouldn’t be murder, so this plot hole makes no sense) then at worst, he would be charged with manslaughter. Cardiac arrest can arise from high stress, which the dude intentionally did. Breaking the ribs, albeit “accidental”, is also manslaughter. I’m starting to believe Neal thinks that accidental abuse is legal and/or innocent.

The anti-straight romance reviews are stupidly sad. People throw eggshells for even the most obedient to walk on.

This book has languished on my currently reading list for about 2 weeks now and I'm in the throes of my historical romance phase. Going to call it DNF at page 146 and maybe someday it will call me back.

I may not finish this book in time for book club, but I will finish it.

Mr. Neal Shusterman, who would have thought you would write a book about the life of kids that I have grown up to work with? I didn't! I met you in middle school when we had an incentive to answer essay questions on your book, The Shadow Club, and since then, my love for reading has continued. I am so excited to start this book!

actually nice to have a decent follow up from Shusterman. Not sure how much in this is coming from Young and Knowlden, but this is really good so far.

Es como que la previa a todo esto me gustó más que el hecho de saber lo que están planeando. Como que ahora meh.

Es de muy fácil lectura/escucha, lo empecé ayer y ya estoy por la mitad siendo un libro de +400 páginas. Eso sí, hasta ahora los capítulos de Jon medio que meh, prefería mil veces los de Adrianna, pero ahora se pusieron interesantes.
