Kind of funny how this hits much different after 10 years of marriage.

My review in 2015 was like ‚I read this in one sitting & will do so again next month & the month after that..‘ & I’m rereading this for the first time now.. in 2026

It’s been a long time since I last read a book. I chose Landline to restart my long-abandoned hobby.

Memasuki bab awal, aku merasa ceritanya akan porak poranda. Maksudku, kok bisa, Georgie kaget ketika Neal bilang, "Yaudah, lu ada meeting, jadi lu stay, kita aja yang ke rumah emak gue".

I am enjoying this but also I feel like we’re at the point where we should be wrapping it up already and Georgie is still fighting on the phone with her husband

Feels like these magic phone calls are doing nothing for the plot

I’m really trying to find her husbands appeal. He’s short, unattractive, stand offish, and low effort. Not a big fan of Georgie right now either. Their flashback love story is her, a successful, sociable, attractive woman trying to win over an unpleasant 2/10????

Neal seems very undesirable inside and out so I’m not quite understanding Georgie’s infatuation

Ok, I’m jumping forward to read the last 50 pages as this book is not at all what I expected. Rather disappointing given it’s been on my TBR list for years.

Was Georgie suppose to make sure Neal didn’t propose?

Honestly, I don’t think I care. At what point do you put a book down and decide it’s not worth finishing?

Why did Georgie marry Neal? He doesn’t seem to have any appealing husband worthy qualities. Apart from the fact that Seth doesn’t like him.

This is a very long intro. We already know from the blurb that Georgie speaks to her husband Neal in the past, yet Georgie doesn’t know yet.
