Status Updates From The Awakening

I am not reading this of my own free will. Blame AP Literature.

Reading has been a work of patience for me so far this year, so I've been picking up some shorter novels and novellas. This one is the best yet by far, I wish I had read this 10 years ago! Every brief chapter has me closing the book for a minute just to absorb and digest. Every sentence is lovely and the dialogue is so fresh and accessible despite being 125 years old. It will be bittersweet to finish this one.
