Status Updates From Tango Satànic

The party of couples abandon the estate in search of the new settlement the two thugs promise them. They smash all of the belongings they can’t carry so gypsies won’t have them. The two thugs follow about a day behind them, and seemingly hallucinate the resurrection of the girl who killed her cat and ate rat poison. This book is only getting weirder.

A bunch of the local drunks gather at the bar on the estate waiting for the two thugs to return from supposedly being dead. A little girl wanders around the estate to avoid her abusive mother and on impulse decides to corner and drown their cat. Her older brother convinces her that if she buries her money it will grow a money tree.
