Status Updates From The Wounded World

I love John so far. He’s the best character. He’s fun and is my main source of entertainment in the book. But Quin has almost no characterization. He’s SOOOO bland. I wish we had a better main character. It’s almost purposeful how he has almost no personality whatsoever. I wish the story was from the POV of John or someone more interesting and with actual motivation. What about that Kate girl? What a Shame.

A little confused so far. I’m intrigued, but barely anything important is given any explanation so I can’t picture anything that’s going on. Honestly I think it’s a fault of the books length. This world is so big and wide that it’s suffocating in its cage of only 237 pages.
