Status Updates From Chimera (Weaver #1)

Ooh, alien! Can only imagine the scene of Cassandra coming back from the dead...

So, Cassandra and Silver can heal people. They seem able to form strong bonds with the right people, but the plan to track down the man from the opening chapter seems dangerous.

James and Kara are definitely ones to watch. Odd how all these people know the main character's mother, but nobody thinks to tell her that her father was a spy for a group against the Weavers. Feels futuristic, but have just been told they're in Texas and it seems more contemporary.

Now that explains the title. Wondering what comes next.

Just what is going on with James? A n unusual set-up.

The testing suggests there is something very odd going on.

Slowly revealing who she is.

Opening chapter. Odd. Narrator is fairly young. No idea where she is or what she's doing there, but the people responsible for her are abusive and clearly want something she knows/remembers.

I don't know what to think of this story.... I'm stuck inbetween liking and disliking it.
