Very interesting forward by Casey Cep where she shares the history of Harper Lee, origins of characters and how some of the stories in this collection were merged to her novels. Winner of the Pulitzer for To Kill a Mockingbird she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Learning of her close friendship with Capote when she first arrived in NY is illuminating
