Currently where I am reading the chapter is set in various schools. Many schools started soccer in Australia in small leagues. It was a very good time for soccer in Australia as many communities were pleased with how the league was going. There are some parts where I don't understand because the book doesn't tells us who and what school started leagues in the country.

Today we did wider reading where we read our own book and make a comment at the end. I like the idea of this because it allows us to slow down a bit and settle down and read a book.

Currently, I am reading about the different stadiums that were placed back in the day. Cricket, AFL and soccer argued about what grounds they wanted to use for there sport.

The preface in this book talks about Roy Hay and Bill Murray's point of view on Australian football. It acknowledges the commentators and former Socceroos who contributed to giving facts about the game in there time. I have read the first few pages of the first chapter talking about what rules were used were used in the game. In London 1820, football was played almost like rugby.
