A lo poco que llevo leído de este título, tiene demasiadas similitudes con El Hobbit y LOTR. Lo comencé a leer sin expectativas y con mente abierta, entonces el tiempo dirá.

I think I'm in for a good adventure.

The travel scenes so far are so wet and miserable. Really captures how it feels to be hiking waterlogged for a week straight and about to lose your mind.

this book has a very ominous feeling to everything that happens. What started feeling like trying to do over LOTR is quickly turning into its own creepier more grounded feeling tale.

From what I know about LOTR, this book feels like that but a little less daunting

This read is so hard. It's criminal. The story has left the plot easy to guess and straight forward. It has little originality, nor does it have me asking questions on what's going to happen next. The story reminds a little of lord of the rings, but misses the mark. The characters seem sort of bland, and it misses mamy opportunities to explain the point of the characters mission. More updates once I have read through

100% reading this trilogy because my husband has agreed to read whatever books I want him to read and I want him to read the Red Rising saga.

Upon further investigation, the next two books in this series involve a different set of main characters and I have absolutely zero interest in that. This last chunk of book that I read was really good however!

I meant to update this last chunk I read a few days ago, but oops. Anyhow, I feel like now I might be able to read two more books of this LMAO. The introduction of a possible love interest grabbed my attention, but also it feels like this book is climaxing and the other two don’t sound too bad rn ;)

I’m kind of losing interest in this book. I’m sure my feelings for it will change once I get a littler farther in, but I just want to read the other books I picked up 😭

Getting juicy

I think when I first started this book I was sleepy and kind of rushing through the first few chapters and couldn’t fully get into the story, but now that I’ve been away from it and kind of got back on track with my sleep schedule I really like it! The long and drawn out dialogue really isn’t all that long and drawn out and the story is finally starting to take shape

Idk I’m optimistic about this book and I really like the idea of it, but the pacing so far seems so slow. I’m only a little into the book as of now, but it’s a ton of run on dialogue that feels kind of boring at the moment. :/
