The writing, the tension, the discomfort and pure disgust… EVERYTHING has been amplified in this book. Every chapter from Kaleela’s POV has me wincing, cringing, wanting to turn away but I refuse to leave her there alone with that monster. Already, this book is such an improvement from the first.
