Handler mentioned to a friend how he wanted this to be "informative" and also "entertaining." I haven't read many disability memoirs, but the others I have read have been nothing like Twitch and Shout, which really does address issues and tells a great story of the "Tourette culture" as Handler calls it, and the intriguing stories of the people he meets along his journey. I love it.

I think part of my inspiration to bring out the childhood cancer world at my school comes from this memoir. Lowell Handler is approaching his illness in a way that I'd really like to be able to embrace mine, and again is showing me the importance of journalism as a profession. I'm so happy he played a strong part in bringing Tourette syndrome out in the open.

The book is still building up, and Lowell's story is so interesting!

I have only read the blurb and a few pages, but the idea of the book seems very interesting.
