Status Updates From Awakening Elaina: A Tale of...

“Healing a woman who hasn't been treated right is one of the toughest things a man can do. Some men might say it's easier to walk away-find someone ready to be loved. Someone who isn't broken. But loving someone who has been mistreated their whole life takes something deeper. It takes balls. Patience. The kind of man who isn't afraid of hard things.”

Wow 😭🥺 crying this part hit my feels

Slowly recovering in this book

ALC: so far so good , I will say with the book the chapters are short. But the narrators are pretty good.

That was the first time I realised something about her.
She doesn’t break outward.
She collapses inward.
I stand a step away now.
That’s where I’ve always been. Close enough to see everything.

Stop it 🥺

🔥🔥🔥

Loving this!

The old Elaina dies on that filthy mattress, it was a moment of clarity when something was taken from her again and for the last time. She was reborn when she plunged the knife i to her monsters, she was reborn when she pulled the trigger, and she was reborn when they buried the beats that have haunted her for to long.

Juliette has some nerve!! Literally and a son?? And she is view the dang house?

First few chapters got me hooked!
