Well dammit, they’re all in on it.

Speculation: Jake and Eli find each other in the facility and fall in like/love and subsequently escape together. They sneak off to the hut behind the family home but are quickly found and dad drags them back to the facility. While together they tattoo each other so they don’t forget because Something Else is happening at the facility, which is where Trauma Land comes in. I don’t think the shrink is involved.

So there was a coverup which they tell us there is because his dad is a prominent government figure and this kind of thing just can’t get out. BUT! What exactly is his dad’s involvement? Is he wearing a balaclava because he can’t be seen (for previous reasons)? And his driver is involved because he’s simply there?
