Status Updates From After We Burned

I told Payton I know how she feels, but that’s not true. Our experiences may be similar, but they’re not the same, and it’s unfair to her to pretend otherwise. Her pain and my pain can coexist. Neither has to be diminished to fit the other.

Hmm. Not sure if I’m just not hooked yet or if it’s just my stressed out brain not being able to concentrate or wanting to read the dark stuff.

DNF ~ hopping off this time jump, different POV, different setting, different year train.

Okay, this is a lot of skipping around. A week later, seven months before, current day. Geez!

This is starting to get better and more interesting, but the back and forth between past and present and all the different pov's is a bit confusing.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one...
