This book is insanely hard to follow and read. Disappointed! But, I can see where a small portion of folks would enjoy it.

Not quite sure how I feel about this yet, but I'm sticking it out.

The more I read the more I love. I’m honestly shocked this is rated so low, guess weird cosmic horror lit with sapphic smut isn’t for everyone but I’m all in baby

I was scared because the reviews for this book for lower than I thought they would be. As someone who is getting into the mythos of the King in Yellow I was hoping that this queer story would sate me till I could read the original. And I have to say so far not disappointed, this is deliciously messy but I can see why people may not vibe with it.

Will not finish. It is so poorly written that the things that are supposed to be scary are just confusing.

Reading this because I like gay horror but so far it’s all gay and no horror

Ok so when I started reading this, I did not do too much investigation and did not understand that this book was going to be as sexual as it was - ummmm girlllll this shit crazy

It feels as hypnotic as the play at its center!

Perhaps I shouldn't have read this part while high.

I’m lovinggggg this

I’m a little over halfway through the book, and I don’t really see how this is a horror? It feels a little like false advertising to me. There was a moment where a bit of gore was detailed but other than that, hardly anything has happened. I love the sapphic stuff don’t get me wrong, but … I feel kind of cheated.

This one is a little outside my comfort-zone... "horror, erotica, and psychological thriller". Horror and Psy-Thriller are right in my usual wheelhouse, but I don't usually go for anything even slightly erotica. I guess we will see how I manage lol
