Love her tbh… it’s so good and the quotes from the women themselves are so witty and real, i just love how they talk.
BIG HOWEVER: the way the author talks about indigenous people is fucking weirddd. sometimes they really discount the fact that indigenous ppl were out in the canadian rockies first, but they consistently refer to them incorrectly. i know it is a “product of time” thing but still weird to read

…hello. consider this post my sheepish crawl back to goodreads. i set my goal too high, got overwhelmed, and stopped reading. i have learned my lesson and would like to come back now.
so far this book is pretty good. i’m loving the first story and very interested to see how similar or different the biographies end up being.
