kurt cobain said smells like teen spirit was him 'trying to rip off the pixies' ?? i like nirvana as much as the next guy, but aside from a few superficial similarities in the surreal lyrics, i do not see the connection. the song is too polished (not something i ever expected to say about nirvana)

if i keep reading stormlight at that pace i fear i will burn myself out and become sick of it. so it is time for the pixies
