It suddenly occurred to Flint that she might be afraid of him. He wondered how Jesse had convinced her into staying the night. His brother wasn’t past using strong-arm tactics to get what he wanted or needed.

The exciting conclusion to the series. Flint and Dr. Shaw are on the run and unbeknownst to Flint's enemies, they have made a grave mistake because now Flint's love of his life is involved.

3.5 stars... Slightly better than the first one if only because we get more Jesse and Sam. Said this after the first book, but doesn't make sense to me to split the story in half. Also, the editing leaves a little to be desired. Like the writing style though and the heat level is pretty damned high. Will definitely read more from this author.
