I’m not sure how long ago I did an update but just finished Ch. 14, John’s prison transport and “initiation”. Like most prisons, he was taken advantage of my his cellmate and traded around for contraband. After being admitted to the prison hospital, his father came to see and pretty much told him that Mary Alice felt worse pain except John deserves it.

I keep trying to match the characters from the show Will Trent to the characters in the beginning of the book. I guess this is what happens when you watch a show then read the book. 🤷🏾‍♀️. Overall, the book is well written so far, detailed and paints a great picture of each person’s personality, perspective and their reality.
