If I didn’t know this was written by KS and I read it anyway I could have sworn this was written by Harlan Coben. To be fair they have similarities anyways but I really feel like I’m reading a Coben novel lol

This book didn't get going until maybe 25% of the way thru? I would advise anyone who has seen the TV series to take this as a completely different story. There were a few similarities and the main characters' backstory is kept the same, but other than that it's a different plot. Very graphic.

I had some suspicions. A few coincidental details lined up just the right way. And then Karin drops a bombshell that is SO SATISFYING TO READ, and I'm kind of shocked that the book is only 1/3 through?

I had some suspicions about where this book was going but OH MY GOD Karin Slaughter I see what you're doing you mad genius!!!! "Who tf is this Michael guy? I thought this was the Will Trent series?" But OH MY GOD OH MY GOD.

So my secret spook at school got me the 11th book in this series (I didn’t know this at the time). Pretty good. I found out AFTER I started the tv show that there was even a series and so I got a library card bc I was being $$ responsible…. And IM OBSESSED !!!!!!!

Gosh I couldn't stand Angie in the third book but I feel awful for her here 😭. Still don't like how she treats Will but now I know where it comes from
