Not enjoying so far. First 10 to 15% of the book doesn't deal with Will Trent from his own perspective and then the next 15 to 20% is currently time jumping on some ex con.. 8+ book series centered around Will.. dunno if I'm gonna bother with book 2 at this rate.

There's so much I want to say, but I don't want to ruin it for someone else. All I'll say is, "WOW!"

The more I read, the more I think I'm right about the ending... sadly. This book is sooo good!

I didn't get much reading done this morning. I was dying to get back to the book at 3 a. m., but my body had other ideas... like sleep.

I want to say so many things but I don't want to ruin the story for someone else. What I will say is, I've figured out the mystery already. I hope I'm wrong and there is a big twist at the end. I'm really loving Karin Slaughter's books. She's a fantastic storyteller.

Okay, forget my last comment. I like John. I can't expound on that without ruining the story.

I'd forgotten how dark Karin Slaughter's books can be in places. Or perhaps this one is a bit darker than the others I've read?

Imagine living in a post-apocalypse world, where every survivor has forgotten how to be nice or sympathetic or how to be friends. That's the world the characters of this book live in, so far. Frankly, it's very tedious to slog through.

Interesting book so far. Intriguing structure which keeps the reader interested and demands he/she pays attention. So far so good.

I think Will should have taken Angie's advice and left.

A little more graphic than I expected, but the characters and plot seem pretty solid, so far.

It's been far too long since I've read anything by Karin Slaughter!
