Great Novel. Major trigger warnings but if you are reading slaughter you already know. No one does the unreliable narrator better.

I’m not entirely surprised (yet), but disappointed. Not disappointed in the book overall, but in the behavior of the characters. Just ouch. The world is a fucked up place.

Karin Slaughter is literally ruining other books for me. She’s just too good.

Whoa this story took a turn. Im still confused but I can't put it down I wanna know what happens next.

This book is getting really interesting. I have a feeling a twist is coming, and im excited to see if i guessed it right.

I've loved Karin Slaughter's books for the most part, but I'm struggling with this one. Might need to do the paperback instead of the audiobook.

the usual taunts, telling him he was probably retarded, that maybe he had something wrong with his brain that no one had ever bothered to figure out. God knew he had been beaten in the head enough times to knock something loose. At the end of the day, none of the possible reasons for his problem mattered and none of it changed the fact that there were kids in third grade who could read better than Will.

Kind of disappointed that I feel like the "twist" has already been exposed...it's hard to continue reading. But we shall see how this ends!

This is allegedly a Will Trent book...soooooooo why has he shown up like twice and I've spent the last 25% of the book reading about some other guy? Also not sure where this is going since things are really falling into place rn? How can there possibly be 3/5 of the book left??

I'm actually upset about the reveal that happened before I stopped last night....I think I'm going to read this whole book, but at what cost?
