So far I like the worldbuilding (feels like a mix between Nettle & Bone, The Thirteenth Child and The Familiar) and the depiction of grief. Azul thinks nothing of her sister’s death because she can bring her back later and when she realizes that she can’t, and that the moment she lost her was the last time she saw her, it comes crashing down on her.
