Nothing like worldbuilding here, we just met Swiss cheese, and so many potatoes, or pasta.
I give up.

SO much has happened. SO much. I'm still enthralled. Note for those who might mind, this book is sweet kisses and entirely fade to black from there, but, the tension sings. And TG this is PrinceS of Toval! I already can't wait for the next book, it's already got "touch him and die" vibes! (Or touch him and be imprisoned...!) I'm so here for all of this.

A man whose love language for his chef is "I see how passionate you are about your work and I gift you this fabulous kitchen where you are in charge." GAH. This book!

Competency is HOT! I hate cooking, but wow, do I love reading about Char cooking. And Fen finding Char's fascination with cooking and his expertise adorable...also HOT. This book is also a strong testament to a mere touch being sexier than full physicality. Have I found a new favorite author?!

Decided at random to try an author I've never heard of. This book is utterly fascinating and immersive and I LOVE it so far. Stellar writing. Slow-burn romantasy featuring a truly knowledgable chef who's swept into a spy mission by an intriguing military leader, anyone?
