I don't know about this one so far.... it's a good book, it's just I do not see any emotional depth yet. Lucy sounds more like a computer than someone processing someone's dad's death. I wish there was more emotional depth in the beginning!!!! I'm just praying it gets better from here...

Making progress!
What a fine afternoon for reading. It's magical when you're reading a book about a breezy island on your bed, while your own windows are open and a nice breeze is filtering through the windows. ...It's also weird that it's as hot as it is in February, but it was still very nice.
Candle Island is a perfect mid-spring or early-summer read, I think. Or in my case, mid-winter. XP
