talked Olde World. Yet used lines like "don't get your
knickers in a twist"… gonna.oughta etc. Very jarring.

I wish the author did some world building before throwing me, the reader, right into “we’re fated 3 pages into the book” how does that happen? Is this a way to get me to keep reading?

I'm so disappointed by this book 🥲

Many things just don't make sense... the first 20/25% percent were really nice, funny, cute, fascinating, but then it went south

The beginning of the book is bit repetitive with the fmc inner thought dialogue but now we are rocking & rollin!

Yawn. The title made me think it would be a light-hearted rom com. But it’s plodding and not funny. Maybe it would be okay if that’s what I wanted, but I was hoping for fun.

Not sure I’ll keep reading.

Started this on 7/22 and ended it tonight on 8/9! A cozy fantasy romcom with a lot of poignant messages on personal healing and the power of truly being accepted for who you are. More to come review wise but there you go :)!

DNF at 18%. I wasn’t feeling any spark between the two main characters. It felt forced and written in an amateur manner. Some of the pacing felt off and areas were already beginning to drag and feel stagnant, hence the DNF.

“This man is going to be the death of me and not in the romantic, destined soulmates type of way. More in the ‘I’m about to strangle him with my bare hands’ type of way” lmao 😂 the banter is already just so good 😙🤌

Oh, the anticipation of waiting for these two to kiss 🤌🤌🤌
